Ximmy’s Denbies Vineyard wedding in Surrey
I first met Ximmy at her home in London where we had her hair trial. She explained how she was in the middle of making things for her big day and that she worked in events organising big parties for companies – it was then I realised she was going to know EXACTLY what she wanted…
We tried a few different styles, firstly waving her THICK, long hair with a fat, hot curling wand, brushing it through and making it look very relaxed and natural, (she has dead straight hair) then pinning it and plaiting it, at the side, to the back and lastly on the top. We were trying some very “now” looks with the plaits and I could see she wasn’t sure with them as she felt her wedding was to be a very “traditional” affair. Not giving anything away on what she preferred I took some photos which I later sent to Ximmy so she could refer to them, show her sisters and friends for opinions and importantly decide on what she liked best, (or if there was anything she wanted to change). After a few weeks I received an email telling me it was the more “traditional” style of pinning at the back, (princess style) with the waves falling around her face that she was to go for. The bridesmaids were to have “waves” too and pinned to one side.
Ximmy’s make-up was kept flawless with a dark liner and false individual lashes to emphasise her eyes without overpowering the fantastic pillar box red lips, (which matched her bouquet AND shoes!).
The photos below show the results. I think you’ll agree she looks stunning!
